SEARCH DATABASE
Using this Search Database, you may search by Title, Keyword, Author, Publisher, or the ISBN. You may even search by the Table of Contents. This is a String-Based Search and will locate only exact matches of the combination of letters, numbers, and/or spaces in the order you enter them.
Thus, if you know the exact title of a book, e.g., The C Programming Language, you may enter the full title in one search field. Omit the articles "the," "a," or "an," when they are the first words of the title.
If you know only certain keywords in the title, or want to locate any books on a certain topic, you should enter keywords individually in separate search fields. Our search engine will combine these searches (a Boolean 'and' search) to locate all titles containing all keywords entered.
For maximum yield, truncate keywords to their significant roots and omit plurals, as our search engine will locate this combination of characters within words as well:
Examples:
- If you are interested in all books on "antennas," search by keyword "antenna."
- If you are interested only in books on "microwave antennas," enter "antenna" & "microwave" in separate fields.
When you have accessed your subject titles, note the box Books in Same Category. By clicking this box, you will draw down a listing of books that deal with this subject.
Once you locate a book you want to order, click the Order box, and the book will be placed in your .
